I experienced many of these feelings, and more, before I finally made a decision to quit. Once you quit, you have to teach your brain to be vigilent, never say well, it's just one.” Tell friends and family they can't ever give you a cigarette no matter what you tell them. It truly is that silly. They will forget after you have quit for several a few months, so remind them. And remind them again. Never take another puff. I give up for 9 a few months, started back soon after an awful break-up…why? Because I never really quit, I put one here, one there, we smoked half a pack together one nighttime at a club to complete the cause - that next day was horrible! It had been back again to day 1.
